Black Wine S/T LP (2009)

Details: Miranda Taylor (Exmaid, Noun, Full Of Fancy) played percussion and sang in the trio Black Wine—it was her most recent longer-term project before forming Exmaid with members of Psychic Teens. Light wear on sides and opening of cover—record is VG+. Marissa Paternoster of Screaming Females/Noun assisted with the album mix and also lent backing vocals on “Greengrove Road.”

Description: “[Black Wine] featured former The Ergs! guitarist Jeff Schroek, along with Miranda Taylor and J Nixon of Hunchback. The label [Don Giovanni Records] explained the band's sound as "a mix of alternative and punk reminiscent of the early days of SST and Sub Pop" and added that the trio will be hitting the studio in the fall to record their debut, with a release expected by year's end.
