Details: Used 7” record of "I Heard a Rumour" by Bananarama from their fourth album Wow! (1987). Some ring wear on the picture sleeve and bending, as well as a tiny rip up near the top of the picture sleeve but otherwise in good shape!
Description: "The track, "I Heard a Rumour," is a song by the English group Bananarama from their fourth album Wow! (1987). It was also featured in the 1987 comedy film Disorderlies (starring The Fat Boys) and included on its soundtrack. "I Heard a Rumour" peaked at number 14 in their native United Kingdom, and was one of their biggest singles in the United States, reaching number four on the Billboard Hot 100. It was also a hit in nightclubs, reaching number three on the Billboard Dance Club Songs. The chords, general structure and parts of the melody (mainly the bridge leading into the chorus) are the same as those of Michael Fortunati's 1986 hit "Give Me Up". The song is included in the PlayStation karaoke game SingStar Anthems.”
